AI Compliance: EU AI Act & the Global Regime

AI compliance answers three questions about your AI system: are you in scope and under which regime, what does it require of you, and how do you prove it. This course is about reading the regulatory regime itself with an engineer's eye — not "responsible AI" as a declaration. The core thesis: a product's regulatory class is an input design constraint, not an output check.

The flagship is the EU AI Act: the most structured regime and a de facto global floor, like GDPR. Each chapter walks one product through the regime — from "are we even in scope" to "living with it and expanding to new markets". Near the end, a map of other jurisdictions (US, UK, China) as a broadening of the horizon. The running case is Kompas, a fictional HR-tech SaaS, deliberately high-risk so it touches every node of the law at once.
